Shortest Hair I've had since Nanyang Girls High School days. It is a bit like A*mei, a bit like 小S. I love it ruffled and messy, the more stylish it becomes.

He has been doing my hair for the last 3 years, and has given me so many different styles I never dreamt of, and he has never repeated any hairstyles. My personal beauty magician!

He did a good job covering my stick-out ears (hair length till earlobe), and gave me a slope on the back with razored end that I can't resist touching the back of my head every now and then to feel the spikey hair ends, and a soft front with long fringe so I can texturise my hair in the day for work :D

review:
For once, I am very proud of Singapore and our local drama and musical talents. Kudos to the director Loretta Chen (sister of artiste Chen Zhi Cai) and singing sensation Laura Fgyi.

Men-women-men-women, a mix of identity, interwined with a love tale, and embedded with witty and hilarious gay puns that set me rolling with laughter. And this is the only theatre/ musical production I watched locally that did not send me to slumberland (Ok, I only fell sleep for 15 mins and missed the scene where they fell in love at Cassell's, darn.). The others like CATS and Chitty-Bang-Bang were more of kids' show and yea, I slept soundly in the comfort of the aircon theatre.

I think the well-furnished sets, dazzling costumes (*heart * Victorian fashion) and draperies, well-cheographed songs and dances deserve your attendance. Never mind that ST gave a not so brilliant review for such a brilliant show is not justifiable in my opinion.

Like a friend's friend who said, watching theatricals is very subjective. And I liked what I saw so much, that I am going to help by exercising i-WOM. I sms-ed all my gay friends immediately and asked them to go see it.

Ends 29 Nov. Productions by Zebra Crossing. Oh, and as the show is running in the theatres, Loretta is away in a developing country building homes for the unfortunate children. A very confident lady to leave her show behind and let it run without her!

I look forward to their next remake of the classics.

I enjoy glamourous photo-shoots, and seeing myself appear on glossy paper. One of my childhood dream is to be a Covergirl.

Post-party thoughts: I had fun catching up with Shiseido, L'Oreal friends, and media-mates & their spouses-to-be @ ZOUK's Men We Love party. I haven't socialised with familiar faces from the beauty and media industry for a long time, and I stayed till 1.30am which was a rare feat. And yes, I went work at 9.30am eight hours later, and still fresh.

阿姆斯特丹――美丽与堕落天使停歇的城市

荷兰阿姆斯特丹可是说是美丽天使与堕落天使交错的城市，有着悠久古朴的荷兰人传统历史，又是性开放的城市，冲突中显示强烈的对比。

游走在春天的阿姆斯特丹街头，深感这座文明城市的朴实和简单。路人乘坐通往整座市中心的数十条电缆车，下班的行人和爱尝鲜的游客骑着简单的脚车，悠悠地从学校或办公室赶回家。

阿姆斯特丹一共拥有160多条大小水道，由1000余座桥梁衔接起整座城市，每座都编有自己的号码。阿姆斯特丹得名是因为市中心的水坝广场(Dam square)，就是由最早达到这片土地的冒险家建造而成的的第一道水坝为基础而发展起来的城市。

有闲情还可以游船河，观赏风景线，供上下站可停靠游览路上的博物馆。一桥一景，一步一喜。你永远看不够河道两侧的景色，也永远不会对这座城市产生乏味的情绪。

荷兰成就了不少举世闻名的大业，如飞利浦、ING集团、ABN-Ambro银行等，生意网络遍布全球。而荷兰首都正是阿姆斯特丹。阿姆斯特丹位于艾瑟尔湖西南岸，人口74万人。

阿姆斯特丹市中心保留了许多沿河而建的砖瓦运河屋（canal house），不见现代摩天大楼的踪影，可见她的保存历史建筑物方面做得非常用心。这些历史悠久、没有被现代大楼吞噬的古建筑，也在在成了它的旅游资本，吸引游人游览它如童话般可爱和梦幻的砖瓦建筑。

想到阿姆斯特丹旅游之为了两大原因――这里是二战不幸丧命犹太族少女安妮•弗兰克（Anne Frank）和世界知名画家樊纲（Van Gogh）的出生地。这孕育了在我心中这座城市最纯真正直的一面。

一抵达安顿好，我就迫不及待到Van Gogh Museum参观馆藏的700幅作品，可说是全世界收藏最完整的美术馆之一。后印象派画风鼻祖樊纲生前狂狷潦倒，靠当卖画商的弟弟Theo救济，离开荷兰到法国巴黎发展，不料独特的画风无法获得认同，28岁拾起画笔至37岁自杀身亡，只卖出一幅画。

大部分的遗作由弟弟保管，当博物馆在1973年开馆时，他把500幅绘图、200幅油画和逾700封信捐给了博物馆。拥有艺术的天才樊纲虽然起步迟，但非常高产，一生中画了1200幅绘图和900幅油画。

我看到他初期的写实派画风“The Potato Eater”和后期印象派的“Yellow House in Arles”、太阳花系列和自画像，感动之余，细心研究他的笔触和层叠起的色泽。在博物馆外是小公园竖了“I AMsterdam”字样的巨型立体标志，爬上标志照相就是到荷兰的最佳见证。

看完画，心情一转，带着沉重的情绪走进犹太少女安妮•弗兰克生前的遗居。居所是一栋三层楼半的运河屋，13岁的安妮在1942年住进寓所的顶楼躲避反犹太主义的德国纳粹。一道可旋转的书橱匿藏着秘密阁楼的出口，把她从学校和朋友隔离开来。她住到1944年8月，全家人被纳粹抓到集中营里；她在1945年3月，即解放前的3个星期，不幸患恶疾去世。

她在阁楼度过2年多的青春岁月，靠写日记抒发情绪，一篇篇文章记录她听到窗外炮火声和思绪起伏都收录在日记中。我在念书时阅读过《少女安妮•弗兰克日记》，被她生动的文笔触动。

穿过旋转书橱、站在她睡过的门窗封锁房间、看她用餐的狭小厨房、和使用过的简陋厕所，日记中的情节历历在目，让人感叹战火摧残的残酷与遗憾。这里可说是阿姆斯特丹最著名的运河屋，每年吸引90万人挤入矮窄的楼梯间，岂能错过。

童心未泯的你可以考虑参观欧洲陆地上历史最悠久的Artis动物园，就在市区内。这座动物园也是全世界最三悠久的动物园，在1882年建成，最酷的是里头有一个室内雨树林和精彩的鳄鱼喂食活动。

参观了动物园，可以步行15分钟到火车站和海港附近的Nemo科学馆，是荷兰最大型的科学馆，可以让小孩和成人随意碰触展示品，通过体验学习科技原理。就算不想看展览，登上二楼的观望台可欣赏到阿姆斯特丹全景。建筑外形有如绿色舰艇，由同样设计巴黎Centre Pompidou现代艺术馆的意大利建筑师Renzo Piano设计，概念是沿着车道坐落着“舰艇”，非常逗趣。

从这里搭船或坐电车，可抵达一个世界首创的Ijburg的住宅社区建筑项目。从2001年开始建，设计现代的住宅门前是河道，一共沿着7座岛屿建了1万8000栋住宅，由Borneo岛屿和 Sporenburg岛屿衔接成的住宅最早落成。整个社区工程在2012年建成时将有学校和坟场，让居民这生不必离开自给自足的岛上。

见识了阿姆斯特丹的内涵和历史足迹，到火车总站和市中心Dam Square之间的红灯区绕一圈。荷兰是海事强国，停靠的海员登陆，形成了卖性的场所，地点相当靠近华人区。

一个个玻璃橱窗里站着不畏寒、身穿着三点式泳装或暴露服饰的青楼女子，是这座城市放纵使坏的展现。游客当作是有趣的参观无伤大雅，但走进花柳巷可别举起相机拍照。沿街可走进情趣用品店或付费参观私人办的性爱博物馆。据说，以前阿姆斯特丹的毒品管制松散，毒品销售猖獗，不过现在已经严罚管制了。

讽刺的是，红灯区就在1306年建成的古教堂Oude Kerk的前方，1452年的一场大火烧光了教堂周围的建筑物，唯独教堂幸免，屹立至今。

爱泡夜店的你可到The Supper Club狂欢，这里是该夜店餐饮集团的发源地；特色是拥有百色沙发床让你慵懒躺下享受饮料，配合强劲的舞曲电音音乐。

如果赶得上3月中至5月中旬的花季，一定要在离开Schipol机场一小时接驳车车程的Keukenhof郁金香和风车花园，让自己沉醉在花海之中。木鞋是荷兰服饰中最著名的特点，因为800多年前，皮鞋是达官贵人独享的奢侈品，而老百姓会在农闲的冬季制造经久耐用的木鞋。旅客可参加郊外旅行团参观木鞋制作厂。看过木屐和风车，少不了购买纪念品回去。

阿姆斯特丹的魅力在于可融性高。去过一些欧洲城市，至今发现荷兰人的英语掌握能力最强，也最亲切友善。找不到方向迷了路，赶街的路人或停靠路边休息的巴士叔叔会细心指路。离开阿姆斯坦那天，答应自己，有一天我要继续发现荷兰，到其他城市Utrecht和Rotterdam去，感受她融旧于新的建筑特色和有趣的风土民情。
